Hole by hole
Hole 1
Our opening hole skirts the wetland with the fairway dog legging left to right away from it. The green hides behind a bunker nestled between a group of trees. Long hitters can go for the green while shorter hitters should play it safe. Play the westerly winds as the fairway is more generous than it looks.
Hole 2
This short par 5 stretches past the water and opens into a narrow fairway. Hooking the ball will set you up for a tough hole. Tucked 100 yards into forestry lies the green. Favor the right side to set up your green approach and add loft to keep the ball from rolling off the back.
Hole 3
The long par 4 is perhaps the most challenging hole the course offers. Bunkers on either side protect the elevated green which slopes hard right to left. Hitting a good tee shot is crucial to find success on this hole.
Hole 4
Hole 4 features a shorter par four, dangerous for players who slice. The long green sits above a pond and three shorter bunkers flanked to the right. Favor the left side of the green to avoid the hazards on the right.
Hole 5
The shortest hole of the course provides a break from a series of long holes. The tee box sits the golfer above the hole, which will add distance to any club. Use the ridges along the side and back of the large green to club up and avoid the sand traps. Missing the green is bad news!
Hole 6
The long hole 6 challenges the drive with bunkers on either side. The lake flanks the left side approach to the green while tall hills flank the right. Utilize the hills to avoid the water and lay your chip onto the green nicely.
Hole 7
This medium length par 3 features a range of hazards. Club up and keep your ball to the right right, avoiding the water. However, compensate too much and your ball will fall in the sand trap hugging the right side of the green. Keep in mind that the green slopes back to front, so playing uphole is easiest.
Hole 8
The short par 4 is a true birdie hole; Long hitters can make it to the green on their drive. Water hazard runs along the right side of the fairway forcing the golfer to favor the left. Add loft to plant the ball on the raised green.
Hole 9
A long drive will set up your second shot to cut the corner and head for the green. Aim for the 150 marker off your drive and your second shot will play nicely. The fairway dips down into the long green.
Hole 10
Our signature par 3 welcomes the golfer out of the turn. The scenic green sits elevated sloping from north to south on a small piece of land with water on either side. Don’t let the water intimidate you, relax and enjoy this beautiful hole.
Hole 11
Short and narrow par 5 curves slightly from right to left. Hills block the view of the green and hazards from the tee box. Favor the right side to avoid hitting over the sand and water on the left.
Hole 12
The tee box sits in the small woods on the edge of the course, adding a scenic vibe to this hole. Water on the left and bunkers on the right compel the golfer to drive past the hazards into the open fairway. This hole is straightforward, but punishing due to its narrow fairway lined with hazards from tee box to green.
Hole 13
Relax just a little on our lower difficulty, medium length par 3. Two bunkers sit on the forepart of the elevated green which drops off at the rear. A high loft with a comfortable club will place your ball nicely for an easy putt.
Hole 14
A mischievous hole that tempts the golfer to go for the green off the tee. Water on the left can be punishing if your ball falls short. Use a comfortable club and aim just right of the sand bunker hugging the right side of the fairway.
Hole 15
Skilled and confident golfers will go for the green, but this hole is high risk high reward. Most golfers will use the same club to tee off 14 and 15, placing the ball strategically on the fairway. Hills back the green, allowing the golfer to club up to avoid the water hazards.
Hole 16
The clubhouse rests beautifully in the distance from the view provided by the tee. Split the bunkers to set up your approach on the large green which drops off at the back. Club down to avoid the water surrounding the rear of the green.
Hole 17
Hug the left side of the open fairway to avoid sand traps and hills on the right. The open fairway allows the golfer to muscle a driver shot, setting up for a short approach.
Hole 18
Play the westerly winds and hug the left side of the fairway to shorten your distance. The hole is hidden behind trees and protected by a discrete small pond. The green sits in a bunker of hills, allowing the golfer to club up.
